Saint Joseph’s in Tewkesbury, in the diocese of Clifton, has been served by Father Peter Slocombe since February 2013. Father Peter (pictured top above in a visit to the U.S.A.) is also Parish Priest at Saint Nicholas’ Church, Winchcombe, where he has ministered for over ten years (see bottom photograph above) . Father Peter also serves Mass at Saint Michael’s and All Angels in Bishops Cleeve – a church which the Catholics in the area share with the Anglican community. To catch up on news from Winchcombe or to see what news there is from Clifton, click on the links below.
With the assistance of Father John Taylor and Deacon John Torr in Tewkesbury, it is normally possible for Catholics in the area to attend Mass five days out of seven and for them to take part in a prayer service of some kind every day except Monday.
